The Medline No touch infrared thermometer is able to take human and surface temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit units. Completely eliminates patient contact. Easily interpret measurement results using the thermometer's result indicators - Red: fever/ green: healthy reading/ Blue: in progress. Approved for use in both clinical and home settings. Compact and innovative design is exclusive to Medline.
- Innovative design allows you to take human and surface temperatures in C or F; simply slide the mode switch to the head symbol for forehead mode or to the bottle symbol for surface/object mode
- Eliminates the need for patient contact via no-touch infrared technology
- Provides for easy interpretation of results using the thermometer's colored result indicators; LCD turns red for a fever, turns green for a normal result, and turns blue while in progress
- Approved for use in both clinical and home settings
- Please note: forehead readings are typically 0.5 to 1 degree lower than oral equivalents because the forehead and oral cavity have naturally different temperatures
