This OxyGo Battery is the portable power essential for your OxyGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator. Take your oxygen therapy with you!

Up to a 13-hour battery life (at setting 2), this rechargeable battery life has never been seen before. You can charge it at home or even on the go, giving you the freedom to find more of the things you love.

No need to stay connected to a power source with this OxyGo accessory option. The long-lasting battery life and the power to operate on all oxygen settings will give you the oxygen therapy you need.

When fully charged:

• The 8 cell single battery will provide up to 4.5 hours of operation.
• The 16 cell double battery will provide up to 9.0 hours of operation.

When connected to AC or DC power, the battery recharges when properly installed in the OxyGo. Recharging time is up to 4-8 hours for a single battery or double battery.

OxyGo Portable Oxygen Battery Operating Instructions

Ensure that the battery is in place and charged. Disconnect the OxyGo from its power source. While the OxyGo is operating on battery power, the battery will discharge. The display will indicate the estimated remaining percentage (%) or minutes of use.

When the concentrator detects that the battery life is low (<10 minutes remaining), a low priority alert will sound. When the battery is empty, the alert will change to a high priority.

When your POC battery life is low, do one of the following:

• Plug the OxyGo into an AC or DC power source using the AC power supply or DC cable.
• Replace the battery with a charged battery after turning off the OxyGo (by pressing the ON/OFF button). To remove battery press and hold the battery latch button and slide battery off the concentrator.
• If the battery is drained, charge the battery or remove it from the concentrator.

The OxyGo charges the batteries during operation when powered by a DC or AC power supply. Leaving your OxyGo plugged in past the full charge time will not harm the concentrator or the battery.

Normal Battery Charging

Make sure you are using the correct plug adapter for your battery. Also, ensure that it is properly connected to the power outlet. This will ensure that your battery charges correctly. Observe the display or lights that indicate charging status.

NOTE: When starting to charge a fully discharged battery, the charging process may start and stop during the first few minutes.

Always keep liquids away from batteries. If batteries become wet, discontinue use immediately and dispose of battery properly.

Effect of Temperature on Battery Performance

The OxyGo single battery powers the OxyGo Concentrator for up to 4.5 hours under most environmental conditions.

To extend the run-time of your battery, avoid temperatures of less than 41 ̊F (5 ̊C) or higher than 95 ̊F (35 ̊C) for extended periods of time.

Battery Time Remaining Clock

The OxyGo continuously displays battery time remaining. This displayed time is only an estimate and the actual time remaining may vary from this value.

Please Follow These Important Guidelines to Maximize Battery Performance and Life:

• Store battery in a cool, dry place. Store with a charge of 40-50%.
• If using multiple batteries, make sure that each battery is labeled (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C, etc.) and rotate on a regular basis. Batteries should not be left dormant for more than 90 days at a time.

The battery will power the OxyGo® without connection to an external power source. When fully charged, a single battery will provide up to 4.5 hours of operation; a double battery will provide up to 9.0 hours of operation.
