Introducing the Drive Med-Aire Plus 8" Alternating Pressure & Low Air Loss Mattress with 10" Perimeter - the ultimate in pressure redistribution and skin maceration management. This combination therapy system utilizes both alternating pressure and low air loss to provide optimal pressure redistribution and ensure patient comfort.

The mattress features a 10" deep static perimeter tubing that surrounds the length of the mattress, preventing the patient from becoming trapped between the mattress and side rails. The cell-on-cell design of the 8" deep air cells prevents "bottoming out" and also provides up to 24 hours of power outage protection.

Advanced clinical and caregiver features include auto-firm, seat inflate, auto-recovery, microprocessing feedback, lock-out, and more. The digital pump allows for customization to individual patients' comfort and safety needs, and will autoreturn to alternating pressure mode if the system is left on static mode for more than two hours.

The 4-way stretch cover is low shear, fluid-resistant, vapor permeable, quilted, and zippered, ensuring durability and ease of use. Each one of the 20, 8" deep air bladders can be easily removed and replaced, providing a hassle-free maintenance experience.

The pillow function maintains the 3 air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for patient comfort, while the 3 diagnostic alarms tell you whether a problem is with the mattress or the pump for more efficient servicing. The CPR valve allows for rapid deflation, while the EZ Lock/Quick Release Tubing connector ensures easy and secure attachment to the pump.
